Who Wants Ice Cream?
Children were supported in their imaginative play, creating an ice cream parlour and selecting resources they would need for their shop. Children were able to create a narrative in their play, using their imagination and rich, descriptive language. Children were able to take turns, create marks to record ideas and use mathematical language with money exchange and the cash register. Some children also investigated how to make ice cream: looking at recipes and exploring different flavours.
