There has been a wonderful range of learning taking place this week. Children have been developing their understanding about the role of builders and indeed children have been involved in problem solving in creating a 'wall' using real brick!
Some of our children have also been involved in developing their scientific skills through predicting what will happen to their dough mixture when placed in the oven; this supports children's ability in predicting and hypothesizing. We would like to thank all our parents and carers and of course our children, for helping to raise £75.00 for Sports Relief, well done everyone!!! Remember on Friday we finish school at 2pm! Have a lovely weekend. We have had a wonderful week of learning taking place at Rachel Keeling Nursery School. We have had a group of children visit Saint Paul's Cathedral as part of the process in developing their understanding about different faiths and the religious festival of Easter. Additionally we have had some children involved in developing both their imaginative skills and ability to work collaboratively through creating their own 'builder's site'. Lastly of course, we had our very successful 'International Evening' yesterday. Our huge thanks to all the children and families for their support in this area. The International Evening is an important event as it helps to develop children's understanding about different cultures as well as extending their understanding of the wider world through the rich cultural experiences they were exposed to.
