Admissions to Nursery 

Statement for Admissions:

Rachel Keeling Nursery School follows the admission's procedure as outlined by the Local Authority's starting school booklet.
which can be accessed by clicking the Tower Hamlets School Admissions button below. 
A paper copy can be obtained from the Local Authority's Pupil Admissions Team on tel: 020 7364 5006.

The criteria for a place at nursery are as follows:
  1. Children who are or have been looked after by the local authority within one year prior to the admission date (children in public care).
  2. Where there are exceptional social/educational/medical needs for the school applied to. You will be asked to provide a report from a professional to support the application e.g. from a doctor or social worker.
  3. Children with brothers or sisters in the school at the time of admission.
  4. To those living nearest the school.

30 Hour Places
All 3-4 year olds are entitled to 15 hour places at Rachel Keeling. Your child may also benefit from the Government's 30 Hour place. Please check your eligibility by clicking the ChildCare Choices button below and let us know your 11 digit code.

If your child was born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019 you must apply for Reception Class before 15 January 2023.
