The week has been filled with a wide range of learning opportunities for our children; including using real tools such as hammers, drills and saws, to listening and re-telling familiar stories. Additionally; we had an Eid Party at the end of the week to raise children's understanding about different faiths and cultures. Our thanks to all our parents/carers who brought in so much lovely food to share within the school.
We have had a wonderful range of learning experiences taking place this week, including a number of parents coming into the nursery leading a number of activities including marble painting and cooking!
Please remember if your child will be attending school on Tuesday 15th to let the staff know. A very happy Eid-Ul-Adha to all our parents and children . Please note the school will be closed on Thursday 17th October due to industrial action. The children continue to progress with their learning. This week our younger children continue to develop skills, knowledge and confidence in developing relationships and knowing how to use and put away resources. For the older children, there has been a focus on developing children's skills in using the interactive board; painting, sculpting with clay and harvesting a range of foods from our garden. We also had a group of children visit Stepney City Farm; this experience not only enhanced children's knowledge about farm animals, but equally was wonderful in developing their self esteem and language. It was equally great that we had a number of parents/carers attend; our thanks to all who attended. Have a look at some of the images taken by the children!
