Learning week ending 28th November 2014
This week we have been engaged in a range of learning experiences, including children learning how to follow a simple computer programme, develop turn taking skills and number recognition. In addition we had a group of children visit the fabulous Horniman Museum. Providing children with opportunities to go on educational visits, is very important as it promotes their curiosity, language and indeed self confidence! We have also had children continuing with developing their imagination and writing skills through their interest in 'magic potions'! The work on children's imagination through potions, has been particularly significant in not only enhancing their imagination, but also their skills in working collaboratively. Lastly, we have been focusing with some of our children developing their understanding of two and three dimensional shapes, through the lovely story of the 'Three Little Pigs'.
Have a wonderful weekend.
