We have had a wide range of learning taking place this week; including children learning to sort by matching and pairing socks. Additionally, we have had children building on their knowledge of Hansel and Gretel, by re-telling the story, as well as creating their own story. Other children have been involved in learning how to use kitchen tools such as a grater when cooking.
Thank you for all the parents/carers who were able to attend our workshops on the proposal for the new start and finish times for the school day, which subject to Governor's approval, will start in September 2014. Remember Friday the 9th is National Children's Day and we want to invite our parents/carers to spend time with their children engaging in the wealth of learning outside. Enjoy the long Bank Holiday weekend. See you all on Tuesday 6th May.
