This week we have been saying goodbye to some of our friends who are moving onto primary school. It is the perfect time for reflection on the idea of 'the Rachel Keeling child'.
At the heart of our School Development Plan is the recognition that each child is a co-collaborator in their learning journey. We want every child to be an independent, communicative, confident, resilient, empathetic and joyful learner. We feel these values will help children to make the most of every single day of their lives. As our young people leave our door for the last time as pupils, we know many of them will be welcomed back as visitors again. We send you off to have a wonderful summer, remember to recycle, ride those two wheeler bikes, ditch the car, look after your body and mind, enjoy nature, grow something from a seed, laugh and have fun! Take your Special Books and celebrate YOU! We will miss you all and have had some wonderful comments and messages. We thank you all - remember you are always part of our Rachel Keeling Family.
